We first used Gill three years ago for a complete remodel of our bathroom, and after such a positive experience we went straight back to her for our much bigger kitchen renovation.

Our bathroom was a really awkward space with a poor layout, boxed-in pipework and even carpet! Gill helped us completely rethink it, including knocking through into an old fitted wardrobe to create a walk-in shower. She planned the layout and helped us choose everything from tiles and lighting to the bath and fittings. Three years later, I still absolutely love it. She also persuaded us to include a bath when we were considering going without one – something I became extremely grateful for after we had a child!

I’m incredibly indecisive with interiors, and Gill is brilliant at understanding the look I’m trying to achieve, narrowing down endless choices and confidently recommending what will work best.

More recently, Gill has helped us transform our huge former living room into a kitchen/dining/living space. It was a major renovation involving building work, new windows and doors and a completely new kitchen. Gill was involved from the earliest planning stages, helping us explore different layouts and meeting builders with us before we’d even settled on the final plan.

Her project management has been invaluable. She coordinated trades and suppliers, worked through the kitchen design with Howdens, organised ordering and measurements, and even brought samples to our house so we could see them in the space. The contractors she brought in for the main renovation were also fantastic.

Gill took my Pinterest ideas and turned them into a beautiful, coherent room, while suggesting details I wouldn’t have thought of myself. The finished kitchen is genuinely better than I imagined it would be.

Gill is down-to-earth, patient, responsive and very easy to work with. After two major projects together, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, and we’ll definitely be going back to her for future projects.

I have recently completed my second project under the guidance of Gill. The results of both are transformative. The first project (lounge renovation) was seamless thanks to Gill organising the various trades.

Gill’s attention to detail is second to none. I have no confidence in choosing colours, fabrics, lighting etc but Gill encouraged me to get involved although initially I was reluctant to do so.

Gill has an amazing eye for wall colour. She suggested colours I would never have entertained but fell in love with it on completion.

I found my most recent project (kitchen renovation) off the scale for stress but Gill metaphorically and literally held my hand throughout.

I absolutely couldn’t have done it without her. The trades she provided as with the lounge were amazing but I found the whole experience overwhelming. I wouldn’t have blamed Gill if she had walked away but that isn’t on her radar.

Not once did she think I wouldn’t be delighted with the result. Gill aided me to choose the kitchen design, cupboards, worktop/splashback , flooring, blinds and finally wall colour which I was undecided about but put my faith in Gill and it looks fabulous.

I am intending to enrol Gill to work her magic on my 2 bedrooms in the near future.

I would not hesitate to recommend Gill to anyone looking for an interior designer to transform any room in their home. She’s warm and patient and just a lovely person. One more thing, she loves her cups of tea and she’s partial to a Jammie Dodger.

I would like to express our deepest gratitude for all of the hard work that you have put into transforming our dilapidated conservatory into an extraordinary garden room.

We are sincerely grateful for the countless hours you’ve dedicated to making the whole project a success and we could not be happier with the final result.

It has created a space that feels and looks both beautiful and functional (my new favourite room). Everyone needs a Gill in their lives.
